WANTED ALIVE: HOME THEATER BYPASS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Benchmark Design Team:

Is there anything in the works for the DAC1 PRE & HDR to receive a HOME THEATER BYPASS option?  I love my DAC1 USB and would love to upgrade to the HDR because I don't have a stereo pre-amp at this time, but I want to keep my 2-channel system integrated into my surround sound system.

I have a Lexicon MC-4 that I use for surround sound, but I use 2-channel bypass when I'm listening to 2-channel stereo music.  The Benchmark DAC1 USB is the TRUTH when listening to 2-channel music!  I need that HDR with a HOME THEATER BYPASS option and I would be set!!!!!!!!!!!

Please consider this request.

I can't say whether or not we are planning a product with this feature, as we have a strict policy of not making public statements about future products. 

However, we really appreciate receiving suggestions like these, as it helps us design products that meet the needs of our customers.

I'd definitely vote for this as well. If you could bypass the Alps pot and enable "calibrated" output when selecting one of the inputs, that would be just marvellous!
