Bit-Transparent?
Bit-Transparent?
Submitted by CLG on Mon, 2012-01-16 18:57On the website, it says "This USB interface is completely bit-transparent. In other words, every sample of digital audio is transferred from the computer to the DAC1 USB without modification." Is that the same as bit-perfect? If so, does that mean irregarding DS, ASIO4ALL, or WASAPI output streams? Can I get a bit-perfect from iTunes? I'm using Windows 7 if that matters.I know that most testing was done with Windows Vista.
Bit-transparent
Yes, that is correct. Bit perfect and bit transparent are the same. You should have bit transparency from iTunes, etc., on Windows 7.
