I know you'll be amazed at the improved performance of your system with its addition.  As far as break-in time is concerned, we really don't think there is one. However, some of our customers would argue that, saying anywhere from an hour to a day.  Really, right out of the box you will hear smooth, detailed playback of your digital files. You'll hear information on your CDs that you never knew existed. Enjoy!
