Welcome to all - Volume Control

I'll bite,

welcome to all at the forum
the world does have many already ... do we need another ?
if Benchmark read these posts and products are influenced then it could be fun

part of that mail out from Benchmark that informed of this forum,  was this link
http://www.benchmarkmedia.com/discuss/feedback/newsletter/2009/07/2/volu...

a subject close to my heart

After many years of requiring something, I still don't think a simple quality quality unit exists
... for those on a budget
OR for those that want to use multiple units for various tasks

main out
headphone / cue outs ... one for each stereo send
a unit dedicate to analog VU monitoring
secondary monitoring

that's at least 4 units or 4 signal parths already and things could get expensive
a scaleable building block could be a useful thing

can these posts be edited later ?

yep ... it looks like they can be edited .. but does say that I have edited this post

Belated reply

I'm sorry for the belated reply, but I've been preparing for and travelling for business for the last week+.

The problem with having modular systems is that it actuallybecomes MORE expensive.  Our products are our attempt at building products with as many of features as possible.  This becomes the most cost-effective solution, as it doesn't require a whole new chassis, connectors, power supplies.  Also, it doesn't have to be designed with several different possible configurations in mind.

Our System 1000 is our version of a modular system, but, as you can see, it doesn't make the product any more affordable.  It becomes more affordable as you add several channels, but that isn't typical for most customers....  Unfortunately, cost is something associated with a well-engineered, well-built device that is tested and QC'd and warrantied to the level which we do.

Thanks for the feedback...we really appreciate hearing these things.

All the best,

Elias
