I have a Benchmark Dac1 USB.  I do not have a stereo pre-amp at this time.

I do have a Lexicon MC-4 surround processor in which I use 2-channel bypass when playing music in 2-channel because, (in my opinion), the DAC1 USB is superior to the Lexicon MC-4's DAC when listening to 2-channel stereo.  The Lexicon is simply used for a gain at this point.  I would like to buy the Benchmark DAC1 HDR, but it lacks a home theater bypass.

Myself and others would like to keep our 2-channel system integrated with our surround sound system.  A HOME THEATER BYPASS feature would easily resolve this problem.

Simple request: PLEASE ADD A HOME THEATER BYPASS OPTION TO YOUR BENCHMARK DAC1 PRE & HDR!!!!!!!!!!
