Benchmark opens a new R&D and manufacturing facility

SYRACUSE, New York, July 30, 2008 - Benchmark Media Systems, Inc. has announced the opening of a new R&D and manufacturing facility near Syracuse, NY, USA. The newly renovated building is located in the town of Dewitt, and includes a state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facility where Benchmark assembles and tests its high-end audio electronic products. These products are sold worldwide to professional recording studios, mastering rooms, broadcast facilities, and high-end home hi-fi users.

According to Sales Manager Rory Rall; “Benchmark’s award-winning professional products have been embraced by high-end home audiophiles.” Vice President John Siau adds: “The flexibility, quality and industry-leading performance of our products has made them attractive to a wide range of users. Benchmark began as a manufacturer of professional audio equipment for television and radio broadcast facilities, but our products have now captured the attention of recording studios and high-end home hi-fi users throughout the world.”

In 1979 Allen H. Burdick started an audio system consulting business in Dallas Texas. This consulting business grew and in 1983 “Benchmark Sound Company” began manufacturing professional audio products. In 1985 Benchmark Media Systems was incorporated in the State of New York and all operations moved to Syracuse, NY. Operations at Benchmark’s newest facility began May 1, 2008.
