Dual Microphone Preamplifier -
Audio Distribution Amplifier
A System 1000 Module
Features
- 1 dB noise figure, -130 dBu EIN
- Gain range from -2 to +73 dB (with pad)
- CMRR > 100 dB to 2 kHz, 75 dB @ 20 kHz
- Bandwidth = 160 kHz, 20 kHz Ø = -8°
- THD < 0.001% @ 2 kHz, 0.006% @ 20 kHz
- Virtually no intermodulation distortion
- Common mode input filter for RF immunity
- Five 60 ohm balanced outputs per channel
- Crosstalk = -100 dB @ 2 kHz (A = 40 dB)
- Remote input pad option
- Optional daughterboards available
The MDA-102 is a dual channel mic-pre with five line level
outputs per channel. As with all System 1000TM modules, the
MDA-102 gains significant power with the addition of
daughterboard accessories. The optional MTX-02 may be used to decode the
M-S microphones at the module, or add the RGC-06 and remote pad for
total control of levels at a remote location. The input clip point of
the MDA-102, like the MDA-101, is +29 dBu at minimum gain. This
makes the module ideal for line level distribution applications that
occasionally require significant gain.
The MDA-102-ra module is a MDA-102PA with remotely controlled
attenuator.
