PS-302 Power Supply (2 pieces)

The PS-302 is an internal bipolar 15 volt, 2 amp power supply for the System 1000™ card frame. The supply also provides +12 V logic and +48 V microphone power. The power transformer mounts externally in a 2 RU high chassis, two of which may be mounted on the same plate, side by side, in the rear of a chassis rack. A single transformer chassis mounting plate, which will hold two transformer chassis, is included with the first PS-302, but not with the second when used with the same MF-300 module frame. The regulator card occupies two standard module widths in the card frame leaving space for ten standard width modules. Two PS-302 modules, as a redundant supply, will occupy four module widths leaving space for eight standard width modules. A massive heat sink is used for sustained full power operation. Each supply section has its own bridge rectifier, filter capacitor, regulator, and fuse.
